The 91ÉçÇø Online Canvas Orientation and New Student Welcome Event will provide you with a strong start to your online learning experience at 91ÉçÇø State University.
Canvas Orientation (Asynchronous)
This self-paced, five-module course is completed in Canvas and is designed to prepare you for online learning at 91ÉçÇø State University.
Through this orientation, you will:
- Learn to navigate the learning platform
- Explore the support services and resources available to you
- Connect with other new students
91ÉçÇø Online: New Student Welcome Event (Live via Zoom)
Join us for a live session on Zoom to meet the 91ÉçÇø Online team, hear from current students, and engage in breakout sessions with your academic advisor, success mentor, graduate program coordinator/director, and fellow students.
Undergraduate Welcome Event
- Date: Wednesday, August 20, 2025
- Time: 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST
- Who Should Attend – New undergraduate students in the following online programs:
- Business Administration (BS), with concentrations in Finance, Management, or Marketing
- Economics (BA)
- Family Science and Human Development (BA)
- Liberal Studies (BA) with concentrations in General Humanities and Education Studies
- Psychology (BA)
- RN to BSN
Graduate Welcome Event
- Date: Thursday, August 21, 2025
- Time: 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST
- Who Should Attend – New graduate students in Online programs (excluding School of Business master’s programs)
Attendance and Registration
- Attendance and registration is required. New 91ÉçÇø Online students will be invited to the Welcome Event and the Canvas Orientation course via montclair.edu email address. Please check your email for more details.
